Experience Waunakee — Community Food Event
May 9, 2026
Especially Stroopwafels will participate in the inaugural Experience Waunakee, a new community event celebrating the flavors, restaurants, drinks, and experiences that make Waunakee unique. The event will bring together local establishments from the Waunakee and Westport areas in a single location at the Waunakee Chamber Depot, offering visitors the opportunity to sample and enjoy featured dishes.
Pour Yer Heart Out — Waunakee

Especially Stroopwafels will be selling stroopwafels at "Pour Yer Heart Out" in Waunakee. We’re excited to be part of this community event and appreciate everyone who stops by to support our work.
Stroopwafel Demonstration at Waunakee Public Library
February 28, 2026
We will be demonstrating stroopwafel-making during the Waunakee Public Library’s Saturday Social from 10:00–11:00am. Visitors will be able to see the process up close and learn more about how stroopwafels are made and why this work matters.

We demonstrated stroopwafel-making at Marieke Gouda in Thorp, Wisconsin. The event offered visitors a chance to see the process firsthand, and we’re proud to continue supplying stroopwafels for their store.
Stroopwafel Demonstration at Piggly Wiggly

Light the Night - Waunakee

Waunakee Big Band Concert — Village Park Gazebo

Especially Stroopwafels sold stroopwafels during the Waunakee Big Band concert at the Village Park Gazebo. The event brought community members together for live music in the park, and we enjoyed being part of this local summer gathering.
Waunakee Area Kids Expo (WAKE)

Especially Stroopwafels sold stroopwafels at the Waunakee Area Kids Expo (WAKE), a family-focused community event held at Waunakee Intermediate School.
Fiscal Assistance - 25th Anniversary open house
June 13th, 2025
Especially Stroopwafels participated in Fiscal Assistance’s 25th Anniversary Open House, marking our first corporate event. We prepared and served approximately 200 stroopwafels on site, connecting with attendees and gaining valuable experience bringing our pop-up stroopwafel-making to a professional workplace setting.

Waunakee Farmers Market
June–October 2025
Especially Stroopwafels participated in the Waunakee Farmers Market throughout the 2025 season, from early June through mid-October. The market provided a consistent opportunity to sell stroopwafels and other bakery products, engage with customers, and build visibility within the community.
Gluten-Free Stroopwafels Introduced
May 2025
We introduced gluten-free stroopwafels as an additional option alongside our traditional recipe. Gluten-free stroopwafels are produced in a kitchen that also processes products containing gluten.
Licensed for Wholesale Production
Officially Licensed
Especially Stroopwafels is fully licensed by the Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection (WI-DATCP) and produces stroopwafels in a licensed commercial kitchen. This milestone allows us to offer stroopwafels for retail and wholesale partners.
